held at the Governor's Mansion in April. Taste buds were satisfied to the fullest with Chef John Helmer's selection of grilled redfish.

Our 2002 convention was a great success, filled with good information,
insightful panel discussions, fun displays and, of course, great
friendships and parties! To help you remember all of the great
times, we are presenting a visual reminder of all the major activities. |

GATHERING
The LCTA's annual Christmas party provided warmth and friendship for the
attending members. Fun, great holiday food and good conversation made
the 2001 event a winner. |

We have completed our move into our new offices, located just down the

LADY
LOBBYISTS / LEGISLATORS' PARTY
Your LCTA was happy to help host the annual Lady Lobbyists/Lady
Legislators' tension eliminator bash. The get-together included not only
plenty of food and libation, but massage therapists and company to help
ease the tension of a busy session. Everyone was well into relaxing and
having fun. |

TASTE OF THE SENATE 2001
LCTA again sponsored Senator Mike Smith at the Taste of the Senate,
offering a tasty dish of grilled red fish by Chef John Helmers and his
Assistant, Robert Bonner. There was food, fun and great times to be had
by all! |

THE
GREAT GATSBY REVIEW
There was quite a crowd for the Great Gatsby gathering recently held for
members. Costumes, music and food from the Roaring Twenties
highlighted this festive evening of fun. |

HOLIDAYS
2000
The LCTA invited members to come by and share in the festive atmosphere
of the Season, made all the more entertaining through the Holiday
decorations and fine foods that greeted the party goers. |

TRADE
SHOW 2000
Our annual trade show was held March 1, 2 and 3, 2000 at the Sheraton
New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The following is photographic testimony
of the fun that was had. Hope to see you next year. |

LMA
2000
As well as exhibiting at the LMA convention,
LCTA again sponsored the Telecommunications Committee Dinner. LCTA also
thanks Time Warner, Monroe, for its generous help in the booth as well
as sponsoring the Prayer Breakfast. |

WASHINGTON,
D.C. TRIP 2000
LCTA's annual Washington, D.C. lobbying trip
in July was interesting and successful. The Board was able to meet
with most of Louisiana's delegation to update them on Louisiana's
progress in the telecommunications industry. |
