Minden Gets Faster Internet Speeds
No Added Charge for Upgraded Services
MINDEN, La. (Aug. 13, 2012) – Suddenlink today increased
speeds for its most popular residential Internet services in
Minden, with no added charge.
Suddenlink services with download speeds of 1 or 1.5 and 8
or 10 Megabits per second (Mbps) have been increased to 3
and 15 Mbps, respectively, and renamed accordingly:
Suddenlink High Speed Internet 3.0 and 15.0. Current
Suddenlink customers will receive the related new speeds
automatically.
Last
month, Suddenlink launched High Speed Internet MAX 50.0,
which features a download speed up to 50 Mbps, and High
Speed Internet 30.0, with a download speed up to 30. Mbps.
High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 is believed to be the fastest
residential Internet service in Minden.
All
Suddenlink High Speed Internet services include up to 10
e-mail addresses, access to e-mail via WebMail, personal
WebSpace and Spam Blocker. All Internet customers receive
ESPN3 at no extra charge. Suddenlink also offers wireless
home networking, called WiFi@Home, with enough power to
connect all customer devices to Suddenlink High Speed
Internet. Technical support is available 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
