Suddenlink Plans $25 Million Louisiana Investment Program in 2013

ALEXANDRIA, La. (April 1, 2013) – Suddenlink expects to make approximately $25 million in capital investments this year in Louisiana, and by the end of the year will have invested approximately $200 million in the state since 2006.

Suddenlink is the second-largest company of its kind in Louisiana, offering cable TV, high-speed Internet, phone and other services.

“Our 2013 investments in Louisiana will help us further enhance the quantity, quality, and reliability of our video, phone, and Internet services, including enhancements to our Any-Room DVR service,” said Suddenlink Senior Vice President of Operations Randy Goad.

In recent years, Suddenlink has rolled out increasingly faster Internet services, with download speeds up to 107 Megabits per second (Mbps) in various communities. It also has expanded the availability of video on demand (VOD), WiFi@Home, TV Caller ID, Suddenlink Home Security, TiVo® HD/DVRs, TiVo Stream, and Any-Room DVR service that allows customers to record, pause, and play back TV in any room.
